With the bottle vases, Foekje Fleur tries to give more attention to the growing problem of litter and the plastic soup in our oceans.
During beach clean-ups around the world Foekje stumbled upon bottles big and small and sometimes even smaller. Travel minis are these little bottles that hold 20 ml of after sun or hand detergent on holidays. But in stead of bringing travel mini bottles to her holiday destination, she would always bring some of these minis home. The bottles used for this limited are edition come from Gambia, Morocco, France, Portugal and Thailand.
Set #103 - cold comes in a edition of 200 pieces and the boxes are hand numbered. For this special edition Bodil Jane designed a box, beautifully handmade by craftsmen in Portugal with an eye for detail.
- material: biscuit porcelain
- color: green, lavender, mint
- limited edition, numbered box
After using, wash the bottles with mild soap, warm water and a brush. Let it dry on a clean towel. Grease stains can be removed by rubbing in mild soap, leaving overnight and cleaning as described above. Always keep this bottle indoors and keep it in a dry place as over time, moist dirt can get into the outside. You can also keep liquids in the bottle. Then close the bottle vase with a cork.
Foekje Fleur's attractive and colorful designs appear playful at first glance, but are in fact inspired by serious topics such as environmental pollution and threats to wildlife. With this they want to create more awareness for these themes.
