The special thing about the Roos bowl is that the porcelain is partly mixed with clay from the river Maas. This gives the pottery a beautiful, speckled sand color. This clay comes from the village where Elke was born and grew up. Roos has a horizontal line in the design and it runs outwards. This makes the bowl look a bit wider and gives it a refined, open appearance.
