This colorful tea towel from Foekje Fleur is made from industrial waste! The Odds & Ends towel is designed to make the most of these leftovers
When factories dye yarns to weave textiles, they often make some extra – just in case – but they often go unused. The Odds & Ends towel is designed to make the most of these remnants, creating beautiful and unexpected color combinations.
- material: 100% cotton in a heavy quality of 380 gr/m2
– size: 50x50 cm
- made in Portugal
- colour: orange, purple and yellow
The design is called Wild Weave; it refers to the original process of weaving on a loom and to the 'good old' checked tea towel. The towel has one side made entirely of terry cloth and one side that is partially flat woven, creating a beautiful surface that dries quickly and is suitable as a kitchen towel, tea towel, or for the bathroom.
The towel has a beautiful hang tag designed by Rachel Sender, so also nice as a gift and can be combined with a Bubble Buddy soap dish.
Foekje Fleur's attractive and colorful designs seem playful at first glance, but are in fact inspired by serious topics such as environmental pollution and threats to wildlife. With this they want to create more awareness for these themes.
